1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Owl, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the app or related services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Owl. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that your use is lawful in your location.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share account access or impersonate another person.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Owl for harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful behavior.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or abusive behavior.
- No nudity, sexual content, exploitation, or unwanted explicit material.
- No hate speech, discrimination, scams, fraud, or impersonation.
- No illegal activity, spam, platform abuse, or attempts to bypass safety systems.
5. User Content
You are responsible for the content you upload, share, or send through Owl, including profile details, photos, videos, and messages. You confirm that you have the rights needed to share your content and that it does not violate applicable law or these terms.
6. Matching, Chat, and Video Features
Owl is designed around profile-first discovery, mutual matching, chat, and live video. Access to these features may depend on mutual interest, account standing, safety checks, feature availability, or other product conditions.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms, billing policies, and refund procedures. Owl does not control Apple's payment processing.
If you purchase a subscription, access to subscription features will continue during the active subscription period, unless the subscription is canceled, expires, or access is otherwise restricted under these Terms.
8. Reporting and Enforcement
Users can report or block accounts that may violate the rules. Owl may review reports, investigate content or behavior, and take action including warnings, restrictions, content removal, account restrictions, or account removal.
9. Account Suspension or Removal
Owl may suspend, restrict, or remove access to the service if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created safety risks, or used the app in a harmful or unlawful way.
10. Disclaimer
Owl is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility, or that every interaction will meet expectations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Owl and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, interactions with other users, or unavailable features.
12. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Owl is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Owl grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
This license also permits you to access and use Owl through other Apple accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where permitted by Apple and applicable App Store rules.
This license does not allow you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, attempt to extract source code from, or create derivative works based on Owl, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
You may not use Owl in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair, or interfere with the app, our systems, or other users' ability to use the service.
13. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded Owl from the Apple App Store, you also agree to comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and any applicable App Store rules. Owl, not Apple, is responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the app, except as required by applicable law.
In the event of any failure of Owl to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app, if any, in accordance with its policies. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Owl.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to Owl or your possession or use of Owl, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, or claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
14. Legal Compliance and Third-Party Terms
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with all applicable third-party terms when using Owl, including any mobile network, internet service, device, Apple App Store, payment, or platform terms that apply to your use of the app.
15. Intellectual Property Rights
Owl and its related design, branding, features, software, graphics, text, logos, and other materials are owned by Owl or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
If a third party claims that Owl or your possession and use of Owl infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Owl, not Apple, will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim to the extent required by these Terms and applicable law.
16. Third-Party Beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this End User License Agreement. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Owl after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
